An exceptional and unique element in the context of the X Estense Music Festival is the hospitality given to the first international showcase of young early music groups, which will take place in Vignola and Modena from 9 to 11 November, in collaboration with REMA ( RéseauEuropéen de MusiqueAncienne), the REMA Showcase, New ancient music in Europe. Seven young early music groups from France, Spain, Belgium, Holland, Sweden, Russia and Italy will perform in front of an audience of festival directors from all over Europe, critics and the public. Every two years, the showcase will take place every time in a different European country, selected by the more than 40 REMA member music festivals. It is understandably a reason of particular pride for the Modenese festival to have been chosen for the first edition of this important event.
