The award, "aims to give recognition to personalities actively engaged in the field of ancient music, art and culture, with an interdisciplinary approach" and takes its title from one of the most evocative instruments preserved and visible in the Estense Gallery, the famous harp of the Roman luthier Giovanni Battista Jacomelli.
